Culture Start
Culture Start is an exciting programme designed to help as many children and young people in Sunderland as possible take part in free creative and cultural events. The programme is aimed at children and young people who may not have taken part in creative and cultural activities before, and we offer all kinds of opportunities for various age groups to get involved across the city, including term-time and holiday activities and regular clubs.

Ignite your creative passion
Are you a young person living in Sunderland with a passion for creative arts? Do you want to explore your potential but need a little help to follow your dreams? If so, an Ignite Bursary might be perfect for you!
Creative Sparks Clubs
Create, imagine and explore with our free weekly sessions. The clubs are artist-led, and offer the perfect opportunity for children to learn new skills, boost confidence and make new friends. Eligibility criteria apply.
