3, 2, 1…Paint!

John Sheehy’s art work Music in the Frying-Pan Pub Brick Lane in the Sixties, which is featured in the Received Wisdom exhibition, has inspired us o grab our paintbrushes and paint onto anything we can get our hands on!

Join us in our drop-in painting challenge where you have just 10 minutes to create a self-portrait… but you can make as many as you like! We’ll be painting onto cardboard boxes, takeaway bags, maybe even the sole of a shoe.

We expect to get messy so remember to wear appropriate clothing! Donations for materials gratefully received.
