Join artist Kerry Cook for a pair of art classes exploring our relationship with the natural world!
We’ll begin by sketching and drawing plants then transfer these into textile pieces to stitch and embellish.
Plus, as a starting point, we’ll be using John Newling’s work; Value; Coin, Note and Eclipse featured in our Received Wisdom exhibition from the Arts Council Collection (which you can see here).
The first session will include a stitching techniques session and the final session will explore ideas for developing finished work into decorative items. All materials will be provided by collection from the Museum or by post.
All classes will take place over Zoom and a Facebook group will run between the two classes for top tips and ideas. All details will be provided when booking.
