Art & Design Degree Show: Glass and Ceramics

From environmental destruction, running through the Yorkshire dales, recycling of local waste glass, through distortions of Islamic patterns and the tragedy of school shootings. From fading memories to recollections of sketches in glass blown forms this year’s graduating class from the Famous Glass and Ceramics Course at the University of Sunderland have drawn inspiration from a wide range of sources.
The work on display at the Riverside rooms in the National Glass Centre from the 15th to the 23rd of June shows a diverse set of skills is on show in a set of pieces that will make you take notice, as questions and see glass and ceramics in new ways.
