Behind The Scenes Tours

Join us for a backstage tour by the Glass and Ceramics department.

Tour of some of the remarkable facilities of the Artist Designer Maker: University of Sunderland’s Glass and Ceramics department.  On the tour, you will watch a waterjet cutter in action, see a clay 3d printer work on a sculptural form and talk to students and staff studying this fascinating and engaging subject.

Times slots available:

• 10.30-11.15
• 12.00-12.45
• 14.30-15.15

Spaces are limited to 15 per tour and would especially suit anyone with an interest in studying a degree in making.

These tours are free but must be pre-booked.
