Botanical Watercolour Illustration for Beginners

Learn how to create beautiful botanical illustrations of your favourite florals and foliage in pencil and watercolour with artist tutor Shaney Barton.

Learn simple techniques to mix and add colour washes, create and blend line, tone and shadow and create finer detail to capture botanical specimens.

This taught session is suitable for beginners, those with different artistic backgrounds and keen botanists. Flowers and foliage will be provided on the day along with all of the basic materials you will need. Or feel free to bring a particular plant or flower with you to draw from if you have a favourite.
