An exhibition celebrating young people from Sunderland’s creativity!

Having evolved over the last 26 years, Bright Lights Youth Art Exhibition, has been a platform showcasing young artists aged 11-19 at Arts Centre Washington and over the last few years has been curated by Celebrate Different Collective.

This year we are bringing Bright Lights Remixed to Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens and we have been delighted to invite previous entries to submit their artwork. This exhibition will showcase previous entries to the exhibition alongside new works from young artists.

Bright Lights Remixed is open to artists that have had work exhibited previously in Bright Lights or the Youth Arts Exhibition at Arts Centre Washington. Celebrate Different Collective, Sunderland Culture’s Young Arts Leaders, will select the works to be included in the exhibition.

Bright Lights Remixed will open on Saturday 24 September at Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, until Saturday 29 October.
