In early 2003, Calexico released their seminal album ‘Feast of Wire’, the album that truly marked the duo’s critical and commercial breakthrough. This year the band will play a series of headline shows performing the landmark ‘Feast of Wire’ in full as well as a slew of beloved songs from the band’s full repertoire.

“Seductive, stirring songs about crushed hope and the corruption of beauty and some of their most ambitious arrangements make this their most fully-realised and accomplished album.” ★★★★★ – MOJO

“Calexico’s first genuinely masterful full-length, crammed with immediate song craft shifting moods and open-ended exploration.” – PITCHFORK

Support from Brian Lopez

Shining bright from under the Tucson, Arizona sun, Brian Lopez is a lead player in crafting the sound of the Southwest indie scene for the past decade and a half. Navigating the space between a classically-trained guitarist and a crooner-style singer, his projects have fluxed between singer-songwriter solo albums and co-fronting the Tucson-based Psych Rock/Cumbia band XIXA. Additionally, his musical talents have been lent to touring with the likes of KT Tunstall, Giant Sand, Mexican Institute Of Sound, Orkesta Mendoza, and is currently with Calexico, while his voice has been featured on many studio recordings including Amos Lee’s “Windows Are Rolled Down” and KT Tunstall’s album “Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon.”
