Celebrating King Charles as King of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth

Join members of the African and Caribbean community in Sunderland to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles lll. Watch the live broadcast on TV and come together as a community to enjoy traditional African and Caribbean food, music and dancing to mark this special occasion.

You can also dress up as a King by decorating your own crafty crown and make a royal badge to wear with pride.

This family event is for all ages and welcomes communities from across Sunderland including people from Commonwealth and Caribbean countries, celebrating together and building relationships.
