A day of free drop-in workshops, performances and screenings at Washington Old Hall to celebrate the talented young people who take part in Creative You.
*(if we have very bad weather (again!) we will go ahead inside at the arts centre)



Bright Lights Young Artists Collective Zine Launch
With their mobile pop-up zine library and archive in tow, Washington MIND launch their zine made in collaboration with Bright Lights Young Artists Collective.
Teenage Craft Club Mini-Market
A showcase of jewellery and glassware made by Teenage Craft Club.
Washington Young Film Makers Collective Screening
A trio of spooky, funny and outright odd films made by Washington Young Film Makers.

3pm-4pm – Right Track
Sunderland Music Hub’s promising young artists.
4pm-4:30pm – Layla (folk/pop)
Uke School and Young Musicians Project alumni.
4:45pm-5:15pm – Sara Leilah (folk/pop)
Played alongside the likes of The Futureheads and The Lake Poets.

Up and coming folk-pop artist – Dodie meets Joni Mitchell.

Zine-Making (3pm-4pm)
Join Washington MIND to create your very own zine.
Collaborative Painting
Get creative with Sally and use a range of materials to add to our Creative You mural.
Tarot Card Reading
See into your future with Kym and read the story the Tarot of Marseilles tells.
Drum Circle
Make some noise with Mark and have a go on the drums and boomwhackers.
Collaborative Sculpture
Try your hand with Liz and experiment creating some sculptures.
