Door-to-Door Poetry: Nationwide

Thursday 25th November 2021, 7.30pm, £9 / £7.50 (conc) / £5 (students)
Rowan McCabe is the world’s first Door-to-Door Poet. He knocks on stranger’s doors and writes poems for them, for free, on any subject of their choosing. In March 2019, he set off on an adventure around England, visiting one location every month for 12 months. He was trying to prove absolutely anyone can enjoy poetry. As March 2020 approached, the project was pushed in a very different direction…

A show about trust, identity and community, this funny and thought-provoking mix of theatre and spoken word tells the story of what happened to Rowan in the build-up to the first lockdown.
