Durham and Sunderland One Act Festival

Wednesday 6th – Saturday 9th March, 7.30pm

After the success of last year’s inaugural festival, amateur theatre groups from Durham, Sunderland, and the wider North East are again invited to come to Arts Centre Washington for the Durham & Sunderland One Act Festival. This is a qualifying round in the All England Theatre Festival, and the winning group will go forward to the Northern semi-final, which we are delighted to announce will this year take place at Arts Centre Washington.

Anything goes in this Festival, with comedy, tragedy, and farce, and several prizes at stake. Is your local group taking part? Perhaps it will even tempt you to join one of the groups, and ‘tread the boards’ yourself another day?
