Have you always wanted to be able to draw the human form but don’t know where to begin or want to improve your confidence with life drawing with the basic technical components in place? Then come along to our Figure Drawing for Beginners 6-week introductory course this Autumn at Arts centre Washington.
In each session we will cover the fundamental skills needed to produce quality life and figure drawing sketches, equipping you to work confidently from life models. With friendly and experienced tutors and tried and tested drawing techniques that work, there’s something for everyone – experienced illustrators and beginners alike. We will cover technical elements of composition, proportion, line, tone, form and structure, experiment with different media and have the opportunity to draw from life at the end of each class.
Equipment and learning resources will be provided each week, but you may bring your own materials and equipment along too.
