Gaslit

The Sunderland Indie present Gaslit
3 October – 11 November – Upstairs in The Granary
A thought-provoking new exhibition by The Sunderland Indie around the theme of gaslighting.

This compelling exhibition invites visitors to delve into the complex psychological phenomenon of gaslighting, shedding light on its insidious nature and the impact it has on individuals and society as a whole.

(The truth, but can you handle it?)
This been happening for years and even longer. It is subtle, it is control, it is power, and we now have a name for it.

Two groups of artists, plus Angela Sandwith, Mike Clay, Barrie West, Karen Sikora, Denise Dowdeswell, James Oates and Helen Redfern, attempt to identify and explain gaslighting.
