Join artist Helen Pailing and make 3D models and mobiles out of a range of found and foraged materials. The workshop is inspired by Helen’s work which transforms waste materials into sculptures. Helen made the chandelier at National Glass Centre out of salvaged glass from Wearside Glass Sculptures. In this workshop you will be using a range of materials and techniques in an experimental way.

This workshop is for home educated young people between the ages of 11 -16 years. Please book only for the young person who is taking part, accompanying adults may come along on the day but do not need to book a ticket.
