An introduction to flameworking glass techniques.

This one day class using borosilicate glass (PYREX) will give you a taste of all of our flame working experiences in one day, make a marble, a coloured glass pendant, some interlinked glass chain and a sculptural plant form. Making these pieces will give you a grounding to move forward with your flame working skills to more complex designs.

Items you make have to be annealed overnight, so you will have to come back to pick up your work, if you are unable to pick up your work please inform when booking and we can arrange postage of your items at cost.

Why not push your skills further and let your imagination take over in the Sculptural Flame Working glass weekend course?

Covid-19

We have been working hard to implement Covid-19 safety measures for our adult courses and workshops.

Although the content of our courses has stayed the same, we have followed government guidelines to make changes in how we deliver courses and workshops safely. We have put in place training and new procedures and protocols around social distancing, hygiene, handling of equipment and materials and PPE (personal protective equipment).

Please note that participants are asked to provide their own face-covering to walk through the building to get to their class and may be asked to wear their face-covering at certain times in class.

All our events are subject to regular risk assessments and while we currently expect to deliver these sessions it may be necessary to cancel for safety reasons if we deem it to be in participants’ best interests. Please refer to our full terms and conditions.
