Introducing… Screen Printing on Glass
An introduction to this glass screen printing technique using our specialised equipment.
This one day course offers participants a comprehensive introduction into screen printing onto glass. Through a combination of demonstrations and practical application you will learn how to select suitable imagery, coat a screen with photosensitive emulsion, screen-printing techniques, suitable enamels to kiln firing cycles and how to fuse the printed layers of glass together.
Participants will choose from a selection of pre-prepared images to create a 20x15cm print as well as making a series of four 10x10cm prints using their own line drawings. By the end of the course, participants will have gained a good understanding of screen-printing onto glass and details of the types of equipment and materials required.
