Introducing the Arts Council Collection

To mark the opening of our first National Partners exhibition, Received Wisdom, Jill Constantine, Director of the Arts Council Collection, will give a talk about the Collection’s 74-year history, how it works with artists, the National Partners Programme and the Collection’s role in bringing the very best of modern and contemporary British art to museums and galleries around the UK and beyond.

Jill Constantine has been Director of the Arts Council Collection since 2014. In 2016, she was responsible for launching the National Partnership Programme working with regional galleries to curate exhibitions from the Collection. She has been a member of the Arts Council Collection Acquisitions Committee since 2004.

This talk is part of the University of Sunderland Public Lecture Series.
