Kente Weaving Fun
Monday 11 April, 11am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 3pm
£2 per child, adults go free
Join textile artist Louise Underwood as we try a range of simple, traditional weaving techniques inspired by pattern, design and symbolism in Kente Weaving.
This traditional artform from Ghana in Africa has inspired the glass designs made by Ghanian-born artist Anthony Amoako-Attah whose work is now on display in the Art Gallery. We encourage adult participants to get involved and support younger children to explore.
£2 per child and adults go free. Places must be pre-booked via our website or the Museum Shop. Please note a 50p charge will be applied to website bookings.
