Make Together – Free Workshops for families!

Join us at Arts Centre Washington this Summer for free arts activities for all the family!

Make Together are fun crafty workshops suitable for families to enjoy together –  Thursdays 1.30 – 3.30pm.

Thursday 22nd July – Family Portrait Drawing Class
Working with artist Shaney Barton learn portrait drawing tips and techniques. Come along in pairs and sketch from each other, experimenting with mixed, media creating unique portraits of your family member or guardian.

Thursday 29th July  – Family Craft Workshop
With artist Sally Southern *** 2 sessions 50 minute sessions at 1.30 – 2.20 + 2.30 – 3.20 ***

Thursday 5th August – Family Animation Workshop with Sheryl Jenkins    Make your own short films using stop motion techniques! 

Thursday 12th August – Family Craft Workshop
With artist Nicola Lynch *** 2 sessions 50 minute sessions at 1.30 – 2.20 + 2.30 – 3.20 ***        

Thursday 19th August  – Family Comedy Workshop with Felt Nowt Comedy Club       
Learn the basics of stand up comedy together with your kids.  Come and learn how to write and tell jokes and stories with a top stand up comedian. A two hour session that will boost confidence and be loads of fun!  

All activities are free, but spaces maybe limited.
