Northern Invasion is a cross section of images from Read’s uncountable hours spent photographing up & coming bands and singers.

Capturing visceral live moments, alongside quieter heartfelt pleas to audiences willing to listen, Read creates snapshots of time at differing stages of careers in vastly different sized venues.

This is of a time and of a movement in musical creativity.
