November Creative Co-working and Artist Support Sessions

Friday 19 November 2021, 10am-3pm

Carnival House, The Kings Road, Southwick, SR5 2JD

And we’re back! Join us for a co-working day, which is a chance meet with creative practitioners, freelancers and arts workers from across the city. There is no agenda, just a chance to chat, take advantage of the desk space and the free wifi without worrying about moving on. This is also a chance to explore one of Sunderland’s finest new creative venues, Creative Seed’s Carnival House in Southwick.

You can also book a slot with Sunderland Culture Producer Laura Brewis, who can talk through a project idea, give advice on funding bids and discuss development opportunities in Sunderland and beyond.

Co-working days and Artist Surgeries will be a monthly opportunity, taking place at different places around the city. They are not just for freelancers, but anyone from the arts, culture, creative or heritage sector who wants to take first steps back into the world, have a break from the home office and work together.

If you’d like to book a slot to chat to Laura, please email [email protected]. If you just want to do some co-working, no need to book!

This event is co-produced in partnership with Tyne and Wear Cultural Freelancers.

This workshop is offered as part of the Unlock the City programme which supports the development of artists and creative businesses in Sunderland. Unlock the City is delivered in partnership by Sunderland Culture, Sunderland City Council, Digital Catapult, North East BIC and Sunderland BME Network, with funding from the Coastal Communities Fund.
