Pyrex100: Winter Gardens Snow Globe

Inspired by a new glass commission celebrating the history of Pyrex by artist Eric Goldschmidt, we’re inviting you to help us transform the windows of the Winter Gardens.

Leave your stamp on the Winter Gardens this winter, by decorating your own unique snowflake on sticky-back vinyl which will be attached to the windows of the garden, turning the whole of the garden into a giant snow globe!

Head up to the Art Gallery on the second floor and ask at the desk for your Snowflake colouring materials to use in the Pyrex Kitchen-Diner. When you’ve finished your snowflake design, return your materials and vinyl design to the Art Gallery. 

Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens staff will stick snowflakes up in the Winter Gardens weekly.
