In current circumstances, the ability to sell online has suddenly become very important; a way of keeping sales going while shops and art markets are closed, but also a fantastic way of reaching a wider market and new audiences for your work in the longer term.

Led by business coach and ecommerce expert Jenny Pace, this three-session mini-course will take artists, makers and crafters through the each of the essential steps to establish a successful online selling business:

Part 1: Introduction to Selling Online (+ Christmas Prep!)
In this session, we cover the basics of online selling, including where to sell, what you’ll need, and what to do next. I’ll also include a checklist for making the most of Christmas sales online.

Part 2: Branding & Marketing Your Online Business
For your online shop to be successful, you need to connect with people who are looking for your unique creations! In this session, we’ll explore how to build a clear, recognisable brand, and how to share your products through online marketing channels.

Part 3: What to Sell & How to Price It
Once you’re clear on your brand and your customers, it’s important to decide what exactly you’re going to sell, and how to price it. I’ll share tips for building a cohesive product range, and how to make build in profit.

The workshop is for artists, makers and crafters, who sell or want to sell physical items online. It is aimed at both practitioners and creative businesses who are new to online selling, or more experienced sellers would like to explore new platforms and outlets for their work.

There will also be a chance for a follow-up 1-2-1 with Jenny, if you need specific advice and support.
