Stained Glass Poppy – intermediate two day workshop
Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 November
10.00-16.00
£150 per person. Suitable for ages 16+
The poppy is a well-known and well-established symbol, one that carries a wealth of history and meaning with it. Wearing a poppy is still a very personal choice, reflecting individual experiences and personal memories. To mark Remembrance weekend, you are invited to come along and join us on this intermediate 2 day course practical course where you learn the basic construction processes of cutting glass, creating a poppy with lead, soldering, cementing and finishing.
Our stained-glass classes and workshops give you the opportunity to create your own spectacular poppy piece to incorporate into your home or garden. Throughout our courses you will be given the chance to select your own design and colours with the support and encouragement from our tutor Gill.
