Back by popular demand! Former managing director of Vaux Brewery Frank Nicholson will give a free talk on the history of Vaux, which started in 1837, describing its successful development over the next 162 years and its sad end in 1999. This talk celebrates the new Dray and Horses sculpture by artist Ray Lonsdale.

This talk is organised by The Friends of Sunderland Museums (FOSUMS). FOSUMS is a voluntary organisation which supports Sunderland Museums through a monthly talks programme, fundraising activities and raising the profile of the Museum in the region.
