The Trombone Switch

Saturday 23 July, 2pm, Pay What You Decide

Washington Youth Theatre present a stage adaptation of The Trombone Switch a modern-day fantasy story for Children and Young people.

When Elsie woke up, she thought it would be a day like any other.

Little did she know that her world was about to be turned upside down when an unexpected supply teacher enters Elsie’s school.

She is about to learn a lesson but not the one she expected.

The Trombone Switch is a novel  written by Neil Armstrong from a story devised with members of Washington Youth Theatre and illustrated by members of the Saturday Art Club during lockdown 2020, as part of Arts Centre Washington’s and Sunderland Culture’s online programme.
