Through the Looking Glass

19 October – 8 March 2020

Exhibition, Main Gallery

Although we rarely stop to acknowledge their presence, windows are part of our day to day life and for the majority of us, they are our most regular connection to glass as a material.

In this exhibition Caroline and Maisie Broadhead present a body of work that considers how we perceive what we see when we look into, or out of a window. Both mother and daughter are highly established contemporary artists. Caroline Broadhead has a background in jewellery and sculpture and Maisie in photography. They have worked with National Glass Centre to make new work in glass for this exhibition which is shown alongside their existing practice.

Please note – This exhibition space will be closed for a private event on Tuesday 3 March, 12pm – 3pm.
