Tuesday Museum Club: Archaeology

Tuesday 28 March, 10am-11:30am
£3.50 per child, adults free
Child places to be pre-booked

Uncover clues to find out what life was like thousands of years ago. Work to find, sort and date objects that can tell us about life in the past.

Explore historic artefacts, compare items and make your own decorative clay pots!

The Tuesday Museum Club is Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens monthly session for home educated families with children aged 5 – 11 years old.

It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and is a fun way of learning about history, science and art through the Museum collections. Please note this session replaces the first Tuesday in April due to the Easter holidays.

Places can be pre-booked via the “Book Now” button or via the Museum Shop.

The activity is inspired by Gathering light: a Bronze Age golden sun. Gathering light is generously supported by the Dorset Foundation in memory of Harry M Weinrebe. With additional funding from The Austin & Hope Pilkington Trust for accompanying activities.
