Tuesday Museum Club: Bones and Skeletons

Tuesday 7 June, 10 – 11.30am
£3.50 per child, adults free

The Tuesday Museum Club is Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens monthly session for home educated families with children aged 5 – 11 years old. It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and is a fun way of learning about history, science and art through the Museum collections. Numbers are limited and places must be pre-booked. Families can come in from 9.45am.

Learn why our bones are important when you meet Professor Bonio, our replica human skeleton. Investigate the differences and similarities in animal skeletons through examining real animal bones. Activities include naming bones, learning about joints and singing a bones song with actions.
