Coal, glass and ships were important in growing the city of Sunderland. Look at objects and photographs to discover why they were so important and how they changed the city.

The Tuesday Museum Club is Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens monthly session for home educated families with children aged 5 – 11 years old.

It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and is a fun way of learning about history, science and art through the Museum collections.
