Tuesday Museum Club: Dinosaurs and Fossils

£3.50 per child, adults free

The Tuesday Museum Club is Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens monthly session for home educated families with children aged 5 – 11 years old. It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and is a fun way of learning about history, science and art through the Museum collections. Numbers are limited and places must be pre-booked. Families can come in from 9.45am.

Join us for an interactive session to explore the rocks found deep underground, and the clues they give us about life in the past. Look at different rocks and fossils and make your own using clay. Follow trails in the Winter Gardens and Lost Worlds to step back in time and meet dinosaurs and creatures from ancient worlds.
