Tuesday Museum Club: Grayson Perry: The Vanity of Small Differences

Tuesday 3 May, 10 – 11.30am
£3.50 per child, adults free

The Tuesday Museum Club is Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens monthly session for home educated families with children aged 5 – 11 years old. It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and is a fun way of learning about history, science and art through the Museum collections. Numbers are limited and places must be pre-booked. Families can come in from 9.45am.

Explore the amazing tapestries made by artist Grayson Perry and learn about the special symbols and taste tribes of Sunderland. Try drawing, printing and weaving activities to create a giant Sunderlandscape. Follow the Little Dog Trump trail to match the people and places from Tim’s story with the Museum collections.
