Using a wide variety of historical sources piece together what happened in the Victoria Hall 140 years ago. Compare the richness, reliability and relevance of the different pieces of evidence. Find out the true story of this important and often misunderstood disaster.

The Tuesday Museum Club is Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens monthly session for home educated families with children aged 5 – 11 years old.

It takes place on the first Tuesday of each month and is a fun way of learning about history, science and art through the Museum collections.
