Are you a creative or heritage organisation in the city that wants to brush up on safeguarding policies and practices? Or are you a freelancer that wants to know their safeguarding responsibilities?
Join us for a workshop with Vicki Kennedy who will guide you through the latest safeguarding legislation, writing a good safeguarding policy and your responsibilities to the people you work with.
It will cover:
– Your role and responsibilities
– GDPR 2018
– Framework, DFE guidance
– Making a referral/thresholds/identification of need
– Categories of abuse
– Voice of the Child
– Record Keeping
– Dealing with disclosures
This workshop is for individual creative practitioners and creative/ heritage organisations who work in Sunderland.
