Make upcycled Christmas decorations for your home with artist Emma Bird. Bring a clean glass jar and your old Christmas cards to try low cost, creative ideas that are kind to the planet.

Sunderland Theatre Company choir will perform traditional Christmas carols and hymns at 1pm in the Learning Space and 2pm in the Winter Gardens. Donations are welcome.

Sunshine Co-operative will also be selling a selection of food products from local producers which will make brilliant gift ideas, while promoting their Christmas Craft event for families in December with some fun demos. They will talk about other ways they help people on their sustainable shopping journey – e.g. their refill system and other ways they cut down on waste. Sunshine Co-operative are a sustainable driven organisation and a social enterprise based in Sunderland.
