Washington Heritage Research Group
Fridays 26 January, 16 February, 22 March, 12 – 2pm, Free
The WEA’s ‘Routes of Social Change’ project has established this group of voluntary participants to research local history and heritage that is meaningful to them.
The WEA offers support to the volunteer-led group through tutoring (e.g. on research techniques) and organised visits (e.g. to archives and museums). Ultimately, the group will design from their research their own local Heritage Walk to be shared publicly with supporting digital references and information.
