  • Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Colour – Schools Programme

From 1 February to 6 May 2019 Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens are hosting an exhibition of 12 of Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings from the Royal Collection Trust to commemorate 500 years since his death. This is the largest number of Leonardo’s drawings ever to be seen together in the North East and is an amazing opportunity for schools in the Sunderland and the wider region to explore the world of Leonardo the artist and scientist. There is an exciting schools programme planned including a teacher CPD event on the theme of STEAM to help schools to engage with the artist’s work – explore our Leonardo da Vinci Schools Offer here
