Auditorium
Make a statement in the Auditorium – a versatile performance and conference space featuring warm tones, beautiful walnut wood panels, comfortable seating and state-or-the-art audio-visual technology and lighting. It offers four different stage formats, and the space can be configured to various seated or standing capacities and layouts.

- Access to house sound and lighting (additional PA, lighting, AV and operators quoted on request)
- Support from our Duty Technician and Duty Manager
- Support from our friendly Customer Service Team (1 team member per 150 attendees, up to a four-hour event)
- SIA badged security where required by venue (quoted on request)
- Wireless internet access
- A variety of food and drink options (quoted on request)

Additional Costs
- SIA Badged security, where required by venue: £17 per hour per steward
- Technical Staff: Freelance specialists £200 day rate (up to 12 hrs), In-house technicians £15 per hour
- Front of House Staff: £15 per hour Customer Service Team member
- Equipment Hire: Any specialist equipment will be quoted for and recharged
- Food and Drink: A variety of food and drink menu options are available, provided by Pub Culture, the operator of the Engine Room bar & bistro. Prices quoted upon request.
The Foyer Bar
Our stylish Foyer Bar is perfect for smart but relaxed drinks receptions, corporate networking sessions and small-scale events. With comfortable low-level seating and tables, poseur tables with stools and floor to ceiling views across the cultural quarter, the downstairs Foyer Bar and upper level Mezzanine are impressive and flexible locations.
These spaces can be hired together or separately outside of performance times. The Foyer Bar is open to the public during performances.

The Engine Room
Great quality food, produced from fresh and locally-sourced produce, is teamed with a fantastic range of drinks – from soft drinks to beers and cocktails. Sitting inside the lovingly restored 1907 Edwardian Fire Station, the Engine Room can be booked separately for corporate or private events and special occasions, or as part of a package with other spaces in The Fire Station.
The Loft
Located inside the Engine Room’s beautifully refurbished bar and restaurant, the Loft is a cosy and intimate bookable space. Elevated to the rear of the restaurant, it’s perfect for smaller groups.
Capacity: 10 people
The Library
The Library offers a unique cordoned-off area within the Engine Room’s dining area. With stunning views across the cultural quarter and front terrace, this area is perfect for birthday brunches, baby showers and more.

The Parade Ground
Coming soon in 2023
The Parade Ground, our fabulous new outdoor performance and events space, will be opening in 2023. With festival lighting, outdoor bar, seating areas and a stage, the Parade Ground will be the place to host outdoor events, parties and get-togethers. Watch this space for updates soon.
