Celebrate Different Collective

Celebrate Different Collective are Sunderland Culture’s Young Ambassadors.

The team are made up of 12 young people aged 13-25 from across Sunderland. They meet weekly to plan projects, co-produce and run their own cultural events, work with artists, learn new practical skills and support Sunderland Culture’s programme.

The young people we work with are a mix of those who have been involved with some of our projects before, are studying creative subjects at college or university and those who haven’t taken part in cultural activities outside of school before.

Having a range of ages in this group means that we are supporting young people throughout their skills development. It also means we can offer more targeted career support for those older members.

We have no process for getting involved, if you’re interested, you’re more than welcome!
