We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Erwin Eisch

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Erwin Eisch – a founder and pioneer of the studio glass movement, a brilliant painter and print maker and a remarkable man. In 2013 National Glass Centre was honoured to host a major retrospective of Erwin Eisch’s work Clouds Have Been My Foothold All Along. The works we acquired as a result of this exhibition formed the foundation for our permanent collection of international Studio Glass. Our condolences to the Eisch family.
