Event description

Join author Rita Bradd for a talk about the Sunderland built clipper ship, City of Adelaide.

The talk tells the fascinating story of the ship’s construction, service, and preservation. As well as significant characters such as William Pile and Captain David Bruce, and Sarah Anne Bray, whose diary of the maiden voyage in 1864 inspired Rita to travel on the ship’s final voyage for preservation in Australia.

Rita will be signing copies of her book in the Museum Shop afterwards. Hardback copies are available for £30.
