Digging Up Washington is a one act comedy, set in 4040. It sees a

young couple excavating a Washington site full of twenty first century relics. What do they find, how do they interpret them and what happened to their ancestors’ society and culture? Discover what our society will leave behind and what future generations will thinkof us.

It’s a glance into the future to see what the people of Washington have left behind.

It is the year 4040 and a young couple have come on a most unusual date. They are excavating a site full of twenty first century relics. What have the people of Washington left behind? And what do the people of the future think of them?

We’re looking for ideas to include in the show. A couple of examples are shown below. But we’re looking for ideas that are specific to Washington.
