Event description

Join us for a special Eco Craft Christmas event and learn how to live more sustainably over the festive season.

 

Visit information stalls from Links with Nature at Durham Wildlife Trust, the RSPB and Reinvented with Love. Make your own festive recycled tree decorations and help to dress a tree in the Mowbray Park Community Garden with goodwill wishes made from rag bunting.

Tree dressing is a traditional custom where people show appreciation for trees and the important role they play in supporting us and local wildlife. Wrap up warm as we will be going outside to dress the tree and enjoy a hot chocolate!
