Event description

Here to There is Helix Arts’ inclusive creative and wellbeing programme for all people aged 55 and over, and is led by local artists and creatives. Don’t miss the chance to delve into a world of creativity!

Discover the rich history and heritage of Arts Centre Washington and its surrounding greenspaces and take part in professionally led creative activities.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills, explore and express their ideas in creative ways, connect with the local community, and enhance their wellbeing.

Coming next – Join Tynedale-based singer-songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones for a series of fun, uplifting scratch choir sessions this season! Together you’ll learn three festive songs that can be performed at a seasonal celebration at Arts Centre Washington in December to conclude this term.

At our December gathering, you’ll have the choice to showcase what you’ve learned and to invite friends and family to enjoy your songs and a performance by Gareth. No experience or music reading is needed.
