Join us at Arts Centre Washington this February for a screening of Laura Poitras’ urgent rallying call against injustice – All the Beauty and the Bloodshed.
Weaving together moments the life of artist Nan Goldin – from rebellious adolescence, immersion in New York City’s underground arts scene and personal experiences of addiction – we chart her fight against the pharmaceutical-billionaire Sackler family.
Told through intimate interviews, ground-breaking photography and rare footage, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed is an epic story of art, activism and survival.

This screening is part of Sunderland Film Club – Wearside’s documentary and independent focused community cinema, hosting monthly screenings, talks and workshops at Arts Centre Washington and Port Independent.
