Event description
Join us at Port Independent this March for a screening of Charlotte Regan’s Scrapper.
Living alone in her flat, 12-year-old Georgie must confront reality when her estranged father, Jason, shows up out of nowhere. Uninterested in a new parental figure, she remains resistant to his efforts. As they both adjust, Georgie and Jason find that they have a lot of growing up to do.
This screening is part of This Woman’s Work – a monthly programme of screenings highlighting world cinema’s greatest female filmmakers.
As part of our season focusing on Contemporary British Debuts, we will also be screening Aftersun and How to Have Sex.
