Whether you prefer relaxing chamomile to anti-inflammatory peppermint, come and join the team at Mowbray Park Community Garden to explore your senses through brewing herbal teas.

This is a great opportunity to find out more about the plants that have been growing in the Mowbray Park Community Garden this season and meet with other people in your area in a relaxed outdoor setting.

All abilities welcome. Drop-in session from 1pm – 3pm.

Mowbray Park Community Garden is a just round the corner from Sunderland Museum. Located by the Winter Gardens access the space is through Mowbray Park. Please note there is no access to the garden via Borough Road. Please ask at Museum Reception for directions.

Mowbray Park Community Garden project has transformed an existing space into an interactive, inclusive, and fully accessible community garden, with raised beds, seating, and paving. The garden was created in partnership with the local community and funded by UK Shared Prosperity Fund via Sunderland City Council.
